Not much to report. Mom has been pretty sleepy, most likely from the morphine, and she has very little appetite. We keep pushing food on her, we want her to be able to take treatments without being too weak. We find out on Friday what those treatment options may be. She has her good, bad and sad days. All perfectly normal reactions from all that I am reading. Trying to keep her positive and remain hopeful that she can stay strong.
Will post again after we are given the results of the PET scan.
Appreciate all the calls, text and emails. It means so much to all of us.
Mom had a pretty good day today. we took her to the shop and i did her hair. and then we went to the olive garden and she ate fair. she was glad to get her hair done as you all know that is important to her. a special thank you to Nancy for the beautiful Prayer shaw, she loves it and wears it all the time. we go to get the liver biopsy tomorrow and then friday to the oncologist. please continue to lift our precious Mother up in your prayers and thank you all for your continued support
ReplyDeleteSomehow I sent myself a message. I am so glad she had a good day. She has wonderful daughters. Know God has His arms wrapped around your family. What the devil met for harm know that God will turn it around for good. Maybe (as Diane says) the girls can come to Weatherford and have lunch with you and your Mom. We all love her. Continued prayers are continually comming your way. Love carol
ReplyDeletePhyllis..As I am praying for you and your family I keep remembering closeout 1988..the one you did single handed....the one labled as the Best Ever.....back to praying.
ReplyDeleteLove to you and Boats,
